Almost four years since my previous note - it still was very tight and austere even at seven years of age. It has reached early maturity now, and the crisp acidity and fierce, salty minerality in this angular, citric (lemon juice, lime zest, grapefruit bitter) wine are now softened by the gentleness of some bottle age. Totally uncompromising, this is an intellectual rather than a hedonistic wine, a wine for purists. I confess to being one.

Lovely. In a perfect spot now. The Breuer freshness intact, hints of tropical fruit and minerality that has yet to develop petroleum. Lucky you who have bottles left.

Quite austere and angular, spicy, the chalk is almost palpable, light to medium body (12% ABV), linear, crisp acidity, tight and energetic, very good length. Not charming but very typical for vintage and producer. But it is not easy to predict where this is going.

I'm Riesling lover, get a recommandation of Breuer himself but I was a little bit disappointed, nice typical Riesling nose but the palate was too thin and the length too short for that class of wine, maybe too young and acidity was overwhelming

Beautiful Riesling, fresh lime, some honey notes and a round body. Medium long finish. In good drinking window now.
