Monday, September 12, 2011 - Tasted back-to-back with the '06 Insignia at The Wine Club in San Francisco. From decanter. Showed better than the '06 but not by much. Very extracted, opulent fruit. Mouth-puckering tannins. Again a bit lacking in the mid-palate.
