Thursday, April 28, 2016 - I will have to first apologize to this wine for I don't think I gave it a fair chance. It was just beginning to show its true nature by the time we reached the last glass. Nose was big, rich and full of chocolate. Palate reflected the nose well and as it was nearing its peak, the mouth feel and taste was nearing what I could only describe as a lush chocolate milk with a finish that didn't seem to end. As for my apology, this wine was overshadowed by the other wine of that night, a 1996 Calon-Segur.
