Saturday, December 14, 2019 - Dark fruit, currants, leather, tobacco, and plum notes on the nose. Dark berries, plums, vanilla, and red currant ok the palate. Medium+ tannins, which are surprisingly soft add good structure. A slight note of heat is present as well. Good finish. This wine still tastes quite young and could use a lot more time to blossom. It’s very big, although not overdone.
