Friday, February 5, 2021 - Very good but not superb. A bit of old Rhone to me. Plum, lots of sweet raspberry and cherry, some hints of fig and a bit of chocolate. Nose is muted and not up to expectations. Tannins are still a bit gritty, acidity is there to frame the finish. This is past its prime. Mellowed out version of what I expected.
