Wednesday, July 28, 2010 - Opened and poured, this wine required some time to show its best. The aromatics evolve to reveal floral, black cherry, subtle earth and spice notes. The color is a medium to dark ruby that is correct for the wines age. The palate shows richness and concentration without losing its appealing, subtle qualities. The displays a medium to long finish where both acidity and tannins make an appearance. This should improve with additional bottle age over the next two to four years.
