Tuesday, September 12, 2017 - Similar to my last note in how this is already fairly sleek and streamlined by the usual standards of the producer. It still has a youthful profile but that's on account of its sheer freshness and vibrancy, not baby fat -- it has an almost gamay-like juiciness. Usually these need some time in the decanter to mellow out some of that rich California fruit, but this one is ready to go right away. Exceptionally drinkable and lip-smackingly yummy with the Californian fruit sweetness nicely reined in while still being pretty unmistakably Californian.
