Thursday, April 25, 2024 - Bob's cellar. Dark red, no bricking at all. Blackberry, damson, red earth and ironstone nose, sweet and still has a youthful air. Eucalyptus and tannic opening, still dry, fruit is reticent on PnP basis. Powerful and big compared to the Latour, certainly not the same level of sophistication. Rich and spicy.
Day 2, knitted together better, the eucalyptus, ironstone, red earth and Australian bush is more distinct. Nice but I prefer the Edelstone.
