Monday, August 5, 2019 - Bought this bottle at the winery in 2005. Shipped to Amsterdam. Picked up this bottle in Amsterdam and took it to Dubai for 3 years. Moved it in container freight from Dunai to Houston in late summer 6 years ago. Saved the bottle form drowning in Harvey, yet had it exposed to excessive heat due to no AC for 10 days, moved house 3 more times and now finally opened one of 6.
Corked - through the cork mess a super-concentrated full bodied beast shone through displaying some of the most powerful and intriguing tannins ever tasted. Pity most of the fruit faded and the acidity became harsh. The remaining 5 bottles have been cellared in Amsterdam and hopefully fared better.
