Tart cherry fruit hits the palate - a little thin in the mid-palate, but decent persistence. Good supporting acidity - a little edgy on opening, but a feature that will probably smooth out when accompanied by some food. All in, not bad.

4/29/2018 10:06:00 AM - A day 2 glass with some leftover pizza. The nose here has developed a little funk overnight to add some complexity. Mostly red fruits, with that funky undertone - very nice.
Riper red fruits here than on the Monprivato, understandably given the vintage. This is probably as good as it will be, but if you have it and still want to hold, I would say this should be drunk over the next 3-5 years.
