Friday, August 27, 2021 - A bit on the backward side for me. I wish there was less new world, and more old world. The oak was a bit much to me. Felt like a little too much makeup for such a naturally rich wine. Interesting to taste. If the oak were backed off, I'd say it would remind me of a high producer St. Emilion in style.
