95 Points

Friday, September 16, 2016 - 66x Parker 100-Pointers from Bordeaux 1947-2010 tasted blind (Switzerland): Tasted blind. Dark purple. Very modern nose with aromas of flowers, bakery, cherries. Soft tannins and full bodied palate, freshness is there too. May be I am too stingy with my 95 points here but next to the Petrus and Le Pin 2009 the aromatic complexity is clearly a step below. Very good Merlot nevertheless. Group score: 17.58, group rank: 37/64

9/24/2016 8:48:00 AM - Hello Collector1855 and thanks for the many great tasting notes. I appreciate it. Tonight I am going to open a 2009 Beausejour bottle. How long do I need to decant it for in your opinion? Thanks again. Robbie.

9/26/2016 2:15:00 PM - Thank you. The 2009 Beausejour bottle was everything I expected and more. After 4 hours of decant some much aromas. Well concentrated wine with a long finish. However it is so so young. I would say it need 10 years.
