Sunday, April 27, 2014 - Du Tertre. Commanderie de Bordeaux tasting/dinner. Dark garnet. Nose of brett, barnyard with red fruit and oak. On the palate round and fat but lacking a bit of structure and definition. This needs to come together, so better wait. 89-90.

4/27/2014 4:44:00 AM - This was at the Fullerton, great evening. On the wines though the combination of so so vintages (98, 08, 11) and medium performer Chateaux proved to be an unhappy combo and confirms my collection strategy to stick to the good years and solid names.
