Thursday, June 18, 2015 - Soft and supple black cherry with floral overtones and notes of licorice, tar, and incense. I think the wine is drinking well now and would not expect it to improve much if at all. I do not think that it is tight; I don't discern any unexpressed weight. The tannins are hardly noticeable and there is relatively low acidity. 90.

Two days later (half-empty bottle vacu-vin'ed). The tar is even more pronounced. I now notice menthol/eucalyptus notes and a black-tea finish with soft tannins. I really like this wine. 91.
