Sunday, March 27, 2022 - Deeply coloured with youthful crimson rim. Medium intense nose of cool dark berries, cigar box and a touch of eucalyptus; not many tertiary notes. In the mouth medium bodied, velvety tannins, ripe fruit, but nice freshness. The length is disappointing though, because there is sth missing; pencil shavings linger on, but all the rest disappears quickly. Overall I’d say this drinks very well, maybe a bit too easily without leaving a lasting impression. Give it a couple more years?
