Friday, April 21, 2023 - Three hour slow ox. Deep dark hazy magenta color. Dark chocolate, mushroom, plum, and anise. Smooth, dry palate. Firm, lower intensity tannins on the longish finish.
This has aged beautifully. My notes don’t do it justice. Enjoying it at a dinner party in a French village with only French people may have helped add ambience. Certainly don’t want it any older.
