Tuesday, March 20, 2012 - This wine continues to improve and impress. A very dark ruby red wine. Fragrant aromas of black fruits, cassis, flint, perfume, and soft minerals. This wine is a true St. Julian. A full bodied wine with a good palate that will improve with time. There is loads of fruit, the alcohol slides by unnoticed, and the tannins are the stand out feature. The finish is very long, but not quite elegant (yet). This the best vintage of Ch. Gloria I have ever tasted. Serve this wine to your friends and turn them into francophiles. 2015-2030 93 points.
