Friday, October 16, 2015 - This wine somehow rides the line between huge, bold fruit and laser-balanced acidity. The wine is burly yet reeled-in, all at the same time. Notes range from plum and cassis, to tar and smoke, giving way to complexity and depth. Beautifully integrated med intensity tannins are in a perfect state of maturity, and will hold this wine in this window through 2024 or so.
