Sunday, May 24, 2020 - I would opine that this wine is in its waing gibbous phase. After encountering this winery and its Pinots for the first time early in the last decade, I jumped on an email offer for a few bottles a year or two later.
Cherry, black currant and cinnamon on the nose; dark fruit, cranberry on the palate; strong mineral finish with a touch of the cinnamon note returning. I plan on finishing my remaining bottles of this vintage up with food by the end of the year.
