Saturday, August 5, 2017 - Slow ox'ed for an hour or so and then decanted as it did not seem entirely open. This has developed nicely since my last bottle 2 years ago, fairly rich and round with still generous fruit despite the mediocre vintage. While I liked the 04 SHL better than the Pape in its youth, the Pape had caught up now and the two are at par in my eyes. Can drink now or hold for several more years. 91-92
