Friday, July 27, 2018 - Impressive wine. One of my first experiences with cellared bordeaux this 2004, and WOW. 30 min decant, then Cedar on the nose with minerality; its scent was beguiling. Beautiful garnet color, no brick from oxidation. Beautiful cherry-raspberry flavor, acidity, and balance. And that cedar. Blown away!
I regret foolishly leaving a glasses worth in the bottle for 2nd day because the nose was lost. Drink it up.
