Saturday, May 18, 2019 - Certainly not over oxidized, but definitely an oxidized character here. This one is definitely starting its descent down the hill, but is still pretty far up. The nose initially was showing some butter and cotton candy. But the wine still has medium weight peach and ripe pear notes. I was still getting this little cotton candy type of thing in the finish with a little bit of crushed rock. Very low acidity. Seemed actually quite delicate and still showed really good balance. Subtle, but actually showing quite well today.
