Monday, January 31, 2011 - Notes from day 2.
Dark red to purple in color.
Decent nose of sour cherry, a little black raspberry, funk, and stones.
Palate of sour black cherry, strawberry, a little herb, iodine, hot stone.
Finish is average to above average in length and there is good overall balance.
Still really tight and the nose and palate aren't giving up what they will in the future.
Probably my second favorite Beaujolais of the vinatage.
