Tuesday, October 9, 2018 - An excellent showing for this wine and it needed the most time in decanter to show itself. Structured and grippy like all '86's but with nice flavors underneath of tobacco, dark fruits and cedar. A bit tougher in texture than the '85 LLC drunk alongside but ultimately it may have had more complexity with fine notes of spices and minerals on the finish.
