Tuesday, September 7, 2021 - Decided to check in on a relatively young Barolo, and was not disappointed. This is starting to show nice secondary aromas, with forest floor, rose petals, cedar, along with bright red cherries and a sort of "musty" aspect which is appealing as well. Tannins are softening, and the wine offers good punch, with great acidic lift. Medium-long, pleasing finish. Really nice and should continue to drink well for another 10 years.
