Saturday, February 25, 2017 - Bright ruby. Quite aromatic in the Spanish manner with abundant fruit (blackberry, dark cherry), spice, and oak (vanilla, toasted coconut). Robust, flavorful, not especially elegant but improves with a beef bourgignon. Some sharp edges mar the finish. Still, in a decent drinking window.
