Massive wine, profound, dense and slow to reveal itself. Subtle power. Inky black and blue core. Beguiling, unmistakable, Southern Rhone warmth & softness in the nose with blackberry, thyme, & underbrush. Massive grip, deftly balanced against powerful blackberry fruit & proper acidity.

Could easily pass for normal cuvee of CdP in a blind. Recommend 1 hour decant, minimum. Remarkable value for the price. This will -easily- age another 10 years in proper cellar.
