Monday, August 10, 2015 - Decanted a good 6 hrs. I knew this would be leaning towards a riper version of this CdP, but I was surprised at how much muscle and tannin it showed. Dark red fruits and spice played of a slightly saline (or bloody) quality, a bit of brick dust and again some pretty good tannins on the finish. A little more acidity and I might been thinking Aglianico if served blind. Should hold for many years.
