Saturday, March 3, 2018 - Pretty much a unanimous wine of the night vote. This one had dark black cherry, licorice, herbal notes in the middle, black pepper finish. Still very fruit forward. Lots of people guessing Northern Rhone on this one given the fruit expression. The 15% Syrah in this wine gives it a lot of balance and quite a bit of depth. This one you can hold a good 10 years longer if desired. Or bring it out for your CDP fanatics and they will love this one.
