Saturday, December 1, 2012 - I guess you could call this a 2nd day wine. Day one - it opened up tight - even running it thru the vinturi could not coax anything out of the wine besides tannins. Hardly any fruit. Today it's a different story - good balance, fruits have begun showing - berries, vanilla and cocoa from the merlot. While the cab franc hasn't called it a day, it's taken a back seat now making an appearance to give this a pleasing finish. My only concern is the crystals on the cork - past experience tells me that once that happens its better to drink any remaining bottles you have. So cheers.
