Sunday, June 18, 2023 - Opened and decanted half. Enjoyed in Grassl Cru glass. Tasted with food (homemade tagliattele egg pasta with tomato-basil sauce, in case you were wondering) and then on its own.
Dark garnet color.
Nose offers some plum, cherry notes and earth. Hint of red clay/cedar notes.
Good dark fruit with firm but not obtrusive tannins. Shows a touch of oak. Sufficient acidity to carry the fruit.
Enjoyable.
