Saturday, April 12, 2008 - The second bottle of the evening (first was 2000 Mondavi Cabernet) - this was better! Perfect red-purple color in the glass, nice legs. The nose you expect of a Saint Emlion - spicey, currents, black pepper & cherry all mixed together. Complex on the pallette - starts out as currents and sour cherry, then the spicey, peppery flavors take over before rounding out to a lingering taste of great, spicey, chewey grape.
