Thursday, April 20, 2017 - CSJ, Fourier, Esmonin and Rousseau table (La Trompette, London): Savoury with darker red fruit coming through. A bit darker and denser and a little more surly than the Fourier. Needs time to soften and open (same comment as when I first opened the case for Jeremy's St Jacques offline at Tom Aitken's fish gaff a decade ago. **(**). Probably the only wine of the night, possibly bar the 04 Fourier, that still needs real time.
