Saturday, March 21, 2020 - It's now day 3, but at PnP this was showing medium tannin and a nice level of concentration. But now it's day three, dark cherry aromas, light sandalwood to the palate. I'd say a chewy medium minus tannin. Shows more complexity than the Potel 08 Beaune 1er Cru next to it. there's an earthy element that fades in and fades out. Never more than a whisper. some kernel shows on the palate too. Not unlike the Vougeraie Damodes 15 of recent, but not anywhere near that suave texture. a little more rustic texture here.
