Aromas of red fruit and a hint of pepper. Flavors of meat, smoke, chocolate, and mulberry fruit. The is dark with the texture of stone-ground chocolate.

Flavor profile is a big different that the standard shiraz/syrah, and very pleasant. Deep with boysenberry and chocholate. Great nose and rich long finish. Great deal.

Nice drinking 2007 Syrah. My favorite Washington State Syrah at this price point. Always works well and goes with many foods and friends always seem to enjoy this wine .

Inky dark, with black fruit, espresso, and spicy oak on the nose. Intense, rich, with many layers. Terrific QPR -- this wine drinks like a much more expensive bottle.
This vintage seems much more accessible at this early stage than previous ones. I think the oak has been scaled back, allowing the wine to show its elegance much sooner. Quite tasty, although I probably will not cellar as much as I did with the 2003s.
