Deep red garnet with some separation. Nose of spiced black plums. Mulberries, fine tannins, nice supporting acid and good length. Managed to maintain a degree of juicy freshness despite the 15% ABV, noting a little warmth on the finish if you look for it. Overall a high quality package of this style. My last bottle which I am OK with because I don’t think this is getting any better. 93+ (my wife gave it a 94).

{screwcap} my only btl, but wow with age In a great drinking window, primary fruit softens, bit co-existing with secondary flavours and the well handle with oak, excellent focus and balance. layers of dark blackberry, mulberry fruit, clove, slight spice, milk, dark choc, med-heavy palate, soft, but fine tannic finish. no rush, but drinking really well and should continue for the next 5 years in this phase.

BYOB - FIFA World Cup, Finewines.se (Sollentuna, Sweden): Generous fruity, somewhat bombastic nose, pencil, licorice, vanilla, silky texture, smooth tannins, marvelous balance. Simply a beautiful Barossa that I would love to try again.
Big, sweet Barossa nose, with just a little bit of that medicinal edge. Lovely mouthfeel - none of that treacly thickness that you often find in Barossa shiraz. Oodles of sweet fruit lead seamlesslessly into a very long finish with just a hint of grip. Well balanced; it carries the high alcohol very well. It's no shrinking violet, but there's enough elegance here to off-set the big Barossa flavours. Delicious.
Classic Barossa. This has predominant red fruit and rich but balanced oak. It won't blow your head off, even though it's carrying 15%. In a good place right now. You've just got to be a fan of the style to enjoy it.
Proper stunning shiraz from the Barossa. Candy red currant with perfect oak integration and simplistic yet flawless balance. So smooth with velvet tannins, this wine goes all the distance and some and finish just short of perfection.
Fullbody wine but with short finish and no taste in the back of the mouth polled down the overall impression. The nose was pleasant with fruits and leather. Taste with fruits, blackberries, currants, chocolate, spice. Fruitdriven and compact. Mild tannins and medium acidity. Needed food to come to life.

Dark purple black. A very deep and intense smell of plums, blackberries, and cherry ripe ( especially the chocolate). Essentially fruit driven. Tastes pretty much the same, along with some vanilla. Got slightly more savoury the longer it was open. Tremendous depth and length and sexy oak and will live many more years (in which time the slightly twangy acid will settle down nicely).

Still a beautiful Barossa Shiraz.
Glorious deep fruit, lovely texture and smooth as silk, tannins gracefully integrated.

Breathed for 2 hours. It tasted about 3-4 years past its best.

Super Shiraz Tasting (Prince Wine Store - Bank Street): This has some magic oak integration with matching blackberry, red currant, blueberry and spice.
