The best '90 Champagne tonight. Lovely nose with spices, a touch of coffee, dried peach. On the palate, fantastic sculpted acidity. Soft bubbles. At peak imo. Wow.

Drank it blind from Vilmart's cellar. Indian curry, cinammon, apple tarte. Long pure finish, powerful, changing his smell every minute. Phantastic 94-95

On the nose, Sherry tones, fudge, apple, butter On the palate, fudge, vanilla, oak combined with a very nice acidity that makes the wine lively and nice. Perhaps not as complexed as the 89 but very fresh and balanced Long finish

Very fresh and crisp, almost no oxidation. Floral notes w minerality and citrus, a hint of petroleum-like aromas. Mouthfeel is very good, mousse pretty well preserved and acidity is nicely integrated. Overall impression is a wine in early maturity.

Straw yellow. Beautifully mature. Rich, ripe and round. Good full fruit and yeasty leeesy notes without much autolysis. A very nice bubbly with years of life remaining. I like this house style and probably at peak for my palate.

Disgorged 8/4/99 for the 'third millennium', 12% A mid greenish gold colour. A creamy biscuity nose with some concentrated pear fruit. This is a full, lovely-textured champage.
