Medium to full bodied, sweet and ripe cherry fruit, smooth and complex with a long juicy finish. Similar ripe cherry and blackberry fruit on the nose, with some garrigue, sweetness and medium finish. Overall, pretty tasty but not memorable.

similar tasting notes. Improved with time in decanter (tasted over 2 hours). Still really a pleasant, traditional style entry level CNP. Fruit is tame, nicely in balance, no wood, medium body. Terrific with grilled meats

Nose of ripe blackberry. Fairly weighty in the mouth, with the blackberry replicating on the palate. No tannins to speak of but nicely integrated acidity that keeps this rich wine from seeming flabby. Very enjoyable and in its prime.

RT, decanted 2 hours, little/no sediment. Ruby, not that dark. Plum, pepper and chocolate on the nose. Tannins softened with decant/time, earth, not much fruit. Liked it, not overwhelming.

A very good bottle. Started strong, with plenty of fruit kept in balance by acidity and somewhat dusty tannin. Improved on day 2 and seemed to me the best on day 3.

Popped & poured. Seemed a bit closed. Not terribly impressive for a CdP with little power or complexity. More earthy than fruity. Surprisingly light bodied. Perfectly drinkable, but rather unremarkable. Possible it could benefit from some aeration, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Nose of discreet dark berry & earth; A very smooth but somewhat light bodied Chateauneuf, yet has a lingering medium finish. Never had one like this. If you are looking for a typical Chateauneuf, this is not it.

I usually love rhone - but this is a disappointment. A little pepper is fine, but this is pepper at the cost of the fruit, not as a compliment. No thank you

Wonderful, light in body but aromatically intense. Compote of berries and fig, dried Montmorency cherries, lip-smacking acidity and smooth tannins. A little earth, spice, and a hint of tobacco. A tad hot on the nose but not off-putting. Perfect autumn match to rosemary-roasted lamb and potatoes.

Both bottles were consistent. Our tasting experience mirrored the notes from Vinous. Lovely, medium bodied CdP.

solid CNP with good extraction and focus, little fruit and nothing to jump up and down about. Drinking nicely now and don't see upside potential here

Cherry on the palate, M+ acid, surprisingly high for a CdP. M tannins. A little hot on the back end.

The wine was high in alcohol at 16% and it showed. Not a balanced wine and hot throughout. I will use it for cooking.

Garragiste purchase, second of two bottles, pleasant and paired well with grilled ribeye. Cherry, raspberry and peppery notes.

See previous comments. Also, give this one some air. First sips are a bit alcoholic, but it dissipates with a little time.

Beef stew (made w/tempranillo based-reduction), bitter-cold winter night, good company + this wine = heaven. A little hot on the finish.

I generally like Rhone, but this was awful. the pepper overpowered the fruit instead of complimenting it. Poorly made.
Reminder to self: don't buy this again, no matter the price.

pretty good stuff for the price; medium bodied, good acidity, hints of spice and earth to go with the cherry fruit.
