A very lightly extracted wine characterised by darker fruits (black cherry, plum) and a bit of licorice. Not a ton of acid, but a very gentle mouthfeel with all tannins resolved. Very pleasant at this stage, and probably won’t improve much further.

I have had many wines from this area over the years and of course they differ slightly between the different villages. This one was slightly dry, slightly short of fruit and not the best I have tried.

Nice, shows raspberry and cherry in the nose, medium bodied, medium acid, restrained fruit, some herbs and some mineral backbone and medium finish. Enjoyable, clean, good food wine.
Probably no need to hold on to this one much longer.

Bright and fresh, young plummy red, looks like Gamay, fresh fruity, cherry and plummy nose, light to medium bodied, bright fresh, very low tannins, again cherry/plum notes with just a hint of leather and earth. Bright tasty acidity. Decent finish. Overall pretty nice, not sure about aging much further though.

Cherry and floral notes on the nose, with earth and spice, and some old leather at the end. Smooth on the palate, with lots of cherry and earth, some spice and leather on the mid-palate, and a nice floral finish.

A serious wine for the price. Solidly structured, aromatic and elegant, with flavors of cherry, raspberry, perfume, mint and earth. Could use a little more time in the Cellar.

straight from cellar and in to the glass. strong beaujolais, but way to young. Red/purple color. Nose somewhat muted. Palate is very winy, with some red fruits and a hint of candy. Strong tannins in the aftertaste. Should age at least a year before revisiting.

A bit more weight than basic Beajolais, thicker than Pinot but probably ready to go.

A better bottle with fresh blueberry and mineral flavors. Not a ton of nose lift but still with some interesting smoky, berry notes.

This was sour and without much to offer. A poor effort.

really singing now--wonderfully fragrant and generous, yet still quite lithe. beaujolais at its best.

Translucent purple in the glass. Slightly herbal and tart finish accompanying good-sized consistent nose. 50/4/12/14/7
