Bought four back when 'dumped' into Ontario market in 2017. Two were 'interesting' but hinting at being in less-than optimal condition for a 22-year-old right bank Bordeaux. You know, one wants, sometimes believes something to be more than what it is. Suffered through a couple iterations. (Pours.) Drinking the Kool-Aid has done some harm, historically. There's a fly in the ointment. Magic Marker emanating from your grade two teacher's easel. Best I can guess is ethyl acetate fault. Bring it back.

Surprised by both the colour and the amount of fruit holding on in this wine. Musty and earthy, cherry, bit of mushroom. Purchased this from the LCBO and must be from a different lot than previous comments. Very enjoyable for a 22 year old Bordeaux.

By all accounts, the lot of this wine that made it to the LCBO in Ontario, Canada is completely flawed. After hearing multiple reports of this, I sampled a bottle I purchased. Not showing at all as it should. Purely Sherry/Madeira. All of them went back.

Too bad but this bottle was definitively off. Would like to have enjoyed something from that great vintage. Did hear from others complaining about faulty bottles from the same source (LCBO)

This wine is showing age with brick colour and nose of mushrooms and leaves, leather. Perhaps past prime, it is still enjoyable with stewed cherry, an umami sense, leather; some zip from acid remains, along with soft tannins and lingering finish. Hard for me to score this with so little experience on similar wines (region & age), but it is clearly good wine. A nice experience, even with a bit of funk in there....

Super beau Bordeau à maturité,rien n'accroche. Notes tertiaires de sous bois, de cuir, petite verdeur de poivron. Élégant, balancé et délectable. Wow!

Nose of prune and cherry. Flavour is anise, cherry and rosemary. Lots of flavour!

A wonderful 95. Certainly well aged cedary, leather, plum and hint of oyster shells. Drink now.
