Tasted blind, this wine had a deep yellow center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose of acacia flowers, apples, minerals, with hints of hazelnut. Oddly, the intensity and complexity of the flavors declined with air.
In the mouth, this wine was rich and ripe with very good acidity and length.
I have no idea why this bottle seemed to run out of gas. At it best it was pushing 96 but at the end it was barely hanging on to 94. I will go 94 to be conservative.

This is a definite WOTN in any occasion. Stunning!
Nose: Initially this has preserved veg note taking over the bouquet, with underlying mineral, white and yellow fruits. Very deep, like a black hole. Slowly touch of cold herbs, cool tea, elegant minerality, nutty, and almost very aged Sauternes note emerged. Very complex, highly fascinating, Sublime.
Palate: Truly elegant on the palate, a bit soft on the mid palate but going on strong and gaining a lot of weight, w great power but well controlled.

My last taste of this was more than 4 years ago, when I said it was the best bottle of Chablis I had ever had. Now, nothing to convince me otherwise, even 4 years later!

Drank at Komi restaurant in DC with my wife. Initially a hint of oxidation and lean. The palate is to die for, airy, intense and precise. It has opened up nicely but still a hint of honey/caramel. Saline, flower, perfume, lemon and orange zest. Drinking nicely, fully matured.

Great looking bottle, great looking glass, light yellow, clearly a brilliant wine underneath strong TCA.

Some zip left on the finish. Good depth but overall a somewhat flat bottle.
