2009 Burgundy Tasting (Park Hyatt - Washington, DC): Tropical fruits on the nose with honeyed pears, and spicy minerals. Such a young wine, so the oak and alcohol were a bit volatile in my opinion, but the flavors were pure so I'm thinking time will be necessary for this wine to come together.

Alcohol :: 13.5% This is much more reserve on the nose that is reluctant to show the aromatic profile as well as the palate. Perfume floral too, more linear and discreet with cold fruits - lime, guava and cold mineral. The intensely palate is round with smooth, silky mouth feel that offer more cold, white fruits and cold herb, mineral that is slightly toward metallic with good ripe acidity flow on to the good, decent finish with hint of vanilla. This is more a mineral driven, least integrated wine compare to the more fruity, good integration and showy Puligny Folatieres. Buy - No.

On the nose, aromas of wet straw, subtle chalk. Apple, pear, straw on the palate. A bit subdued upon opening. Finish of nuttiness and light fruit.
