Our last bottle, popped and poured. I was pleased to see a pale yellow color- no obvious oxidation here. This was very generic/closed for the first thirty minutes or so. After an hour or so, lemon, stone/mineral, lily and other floral qualities emerged. Good, but not as exciting or expressive as our previous bottle. Perhaps a couple of hours in a decanter would have helped.

Poured a deep yellow color. Lovely bouquet of lemon and stone with floral undertones. There's also something just a little bit nutty underneath as well. Medium-bodied and dripping with a quartz-like stony minerality along with orchard fruit and lemony citrus. Independently of one another, Domino and I both scored this bottle 93 pts. This blew my expectations out of the water. I hope our final bottle shows as well.

Greatly exceeded my expectations. Lemon meringue, green apple, and some biscuit and hay on the nose. It tastes creamy but also incredibly fresh and focused thanks to the minerality and the lively acidity. Great concentration and balance. Drinking beautifully now.

Nose of lemon and minerals. Still a bit tight, plenty of acid and citrus with nice minerality and a moderate plus finish. Nice wine with plenty of time. 91+ points

Another 2008 white burgundy that will keep just fine for years. Still very light in color, almost chalky on the nose, with creamy citrus across the palate. Fine focused finish albeit on the austere side.

This white wine is a wine that gives such an impression that is unusual for whites. No decanting, its nose was really closed to begin with. However, in the taste the citrus was extraordinary, with grape and bread tones, together with what I could best describe as rubber/petroleum, although I know not everyone would agree. After letting it rest for 2 hours, the nose had opened up to some extent, although not wholly. The flavors described was even more accentuated. A really elegant wine, worth drinking, and could probably stay in the cellar for a decade. Wow.

This has a fresh, racy nose with lime, crushed rocks and an herbal grassy note. The acid and minerality are a bit dominant on the palate right now, but also shows fresh lemon and grass. If oak influence is there it is well integrated. Very good now, but may be better in a year or two if the acid/minerals tame. Lengthy mineral-driven finish.

Intenst eikepreg på duft med aromaer av karamell, vanilje, treverk og toast. Fyldig og fet frukt i munnen. Bred vin med tydelige smør- og nøttetoner. Noe flat syrestruktur. Fete smørtoner også i ettersmaken. Eiken er foreløpig i overkant støyende, men vil nok bli bedre integrert ved noen års lagring. (86-87P)

Lemony citrus and wet stone aromas. Orchard fruit, citrus and mineral on the palate. Finishes with good length. Lovely.

Loads of lemony citrus fruit with stony mineral undertones. Lemon curd and mineral flavors with a long finish.
