Light musty ruby color. More intense slightly musky nose of ripe red cherry, hint of black fruit and mushroom. Dry, rounded tannins, grippier tannins, palate (fading and musty) follows through. Medium body. Good balance. Medium long finish. Drink fast drink now, window closing. Rank 3. Result 3 Bruno Clavelier Aux Cras 2009.

Cassis and dark red fruit, soil, tannins, needed an hour of aeration to come together adding density and power, still young with good potential, needs 2-3 years more to be close to its apogee.

Nose of cassis, on the palate again cassis, after a while wild red fruit is appearing, aromatically the same impression as with the last bottle, but this time it is much more powerful, excellent stuff, but hold.

The nose is pure cassis, in the mouth the cassis is persistant with some additional red cherries, violets and wild red fruit. Rarely having tasted something similar. This wine has good length, but it is not very powerful for a 2009. Highly elegant. In my opinion it needs still some years to show everything.

Still a distinctly youthful colour. This has a delightful nose, piercingly pure cassis with a sorbet element, something floral, lilac, lily perhaps. An engaging sweetness without anything cloying. The palate hits with the same pure fruit but then pinches up a little in the midpalate and the finish shows a little coarseness for now. An '09 going into shutdown mode but I'd bet on a butterfly emerging on the other side.

Quite opaque. Unique nose of freshly digged dirt and cut grass, plus some floral notes in the background, it was like lying on a bed of grass–perhaps not for everyone. In the mouth it was soft and ripe with with flavors of licorice and exotic spice, moderate length, fine tannins.

Wow, the nose is like smell a fresh flower plus some fresh white grape. The palate is medium body with restrain berry hint. Medium to short finish at this stage. Not a powerful wine but very elegant with it's own charming personality. Stylish but at the same time, very friendly to pair with different kinds of food.

Dark red fruit and cassis, pronounced salinity, gained on weight, dense with good length.

Red fruit, spices (gloves and pepper), gained on density over the last years, but unfortunately slightly corked.
