Starting to show maturity, excellent stuff of citrus, beewax and butterscotch. Enough structure to last years, sadly only one more bottle in my cellar.

This is drinking very well tonight with bright, penetrating green and citrus fruit, firm minerality, a bracing acidic core, some nutmeg notes, all framed with a judicious use of oak. The finish is long and satisfying. Quite nice.

This is a really nice village Chassagne with bright pear and citrus flavors and a penetrating, mineral driven core all framed with a deft touch of oak. Very good!

From magnum. Light color, clean, crisp. In a great place, showing a nice combination of fruit, minerals, and subtle oak. Very elegant wine, that I would be drinking now but certainly has some life left to it. A-

Light yellow, clean. Medium intensity on the nose with yellow stone fruit and vanilla. Quite rich mouthfeel with good acidity (considering the vintage), medium intensity, more yellow stone fruit and some popcorn. Quite long, plenty of oak, however the oak suits the wine quite well. Drank with fresh lobster - a nice match.

Excellent village chassagne. Good freshness for the vintage and just a lovely wine. Could probably do with a few more years, in order to let the oak integrate a bit.

Excellent! Bright, clean pear and lemon zest with a fair amount of oak that is in no way overpowering. A bright acidic core leads into a nice med length finish with minerally and perhaps a saline type of undertone. This is my first taste of Bernerd Moreau and I look forward to tasting his 1er crus

Very pale yellow with a touch of green. Thin chalky nose. Lemon and cream with a tart finish but lacks weight and substance. I liked the 2008 and thought it a good value. With the proviso that this is young, it does not live up to that standard nor, in my opinion, is it likely to over time.

Domaine Tasting at Bernard Moreau (Burgundy, France): From bottle at the Domaine. Bottled two weeks prior. It comes from parcels all across the village. One third is situated around the Premier Crus and the other two thirds comes form the northern end near Batard Montrachet. Rripe yellow fruits, a touch of vanilla and creamy lemon. Well-textured medium bodied palate. Nice finish.
