Decanted for two hours. Color lighter than typical Cab, was a light shade of garnet. Nose had aromas of oak and vanilla. Palate was medium to full with an initial tartness that folded into a nice mouthful as we enjoyed another glass. This was a pleasant enjoyable wine that I would repeat if I had anymore left. 5,13,15,5=88

This is a very lightweight cab fruit forward fruit. Hints of tart cherries on the nose and some mud. In the mouth it's a lot more like a merlot than a cab with mostly plumb. Tannin is virtually nonexistent.
Complete waste of my money.

I must confess, I prefer the 2007 vintage of this wine. This one has a tight nose even after 2 hours of breathing in bottle. Slight dill notes and jappy ripe berries on the nose once found. It starts out very earthy up front and then turns very sweet on the midpalate. Points for evolving, but it's a bit jarring of a transition. Very sweet fruit and tannins wrap it up.

Nose of cranberry and boysenberry. Weak tannins don't offset the acid, so the balance is a bit off. Good fruit on the palate however which make it a decent wine.

California Cab Tasting, USQ Wines; 11/10/2010-11/12/2010 (New York): Raisiny fruit with some olive and coffee action as well on the nose, but this is not as pleasing as the other wines tasted. On the palate, coffee, oak and some bitterness on the palate followed by some saccharine sweet aftertaste as well.

Very nice. Aged well. Light enough that i had without food on second day. Part of a 4yr vertical.

Seemed more like a merlot than a cab, not what I would call a "big" red.

Tried at tasting. Starts sweet, then a bit acidic. Disjointed.
