Star bright appearance. Crisp, juicy acidity frames subdued aromas and flavors of lemons, minerals, baking spices, and hints of toast and vanilla. Adequate finish.

Nice dry, but not bitingly so, white. A cut above table wine with nice bouquet with citrus and chalk on the palate. A good Chadonnay with mineral rather than oak on the finish.

$24 off the wine list at the Anvil Club. Pale color. Mineral and apple notes give way to peach blossom and wet stone qualities. Bright acidity, with citrus, mineral and stone flavors. Paired nicely with sweetbreads and lobster served over wild mushroom and pasta with a white wine and caper pan sauce.

13.0% alcohol. Pretty wine, if a bit simple. Medium yellow color. Very light oak on the nose, along with apple and crisp lemon notes and plenty of acidity. Medium finish. Solid effort right here. B+

Nose: Lemons, green apples, wet stones, sea spray, smoke. Palate: Lemons, green apples, wet stones, and smoke on the attack. Big, salty acidity and smoke on the mid-palate dissipate into faint, hard lemon candy with a hint of apples on the finish.
Good fruit weight to go along with ample acidity and the good aspects of oaked chardonnay... this wine drinks way above its price point. These final comments are being written after the bottle has had 5+ hours of air and it has definitely put on some weight. For 18 bones, I see this wine satisfying most of my basic chardonnay needs.

My bottle in a white burgundy tasting. Stood up quite well, lighter than most of the others, but crisp and refreshing. Subtle nose, flinty and stoney mixed with citrus and green apples on the palate. Nice, medium finish. I'll get more of this.

This straw-colored wine was popped, poured and serially tasted over two hours as an aperitif on a warm summer evening. The nose shows pleasant aromas of wet stones, apples, citrus peel and no detectable oak. Light-bodied on the palate, with nice acidity and good minerality. The alcohol (listed by Kobrand as 13%) is well-integrated and the middle palate hangs in there to set the stage for a medium, crisp finish. Albeit a light style, this is a very nice white Burgundy at an attractive price. I certainly prefer it to most comparably-priced new-world Chardonnay offerings. Drink now-12/14.

13.0% alcohol. Light yellow color. Pretty nose of apple and stones. In the mouth, refined and elegant if not complex, with simple apple fruit, minerals, and a touch of spice. Very soft mouth feel with terrific balance, if not terrific concentration. A really fine wine to sit and drink. Excellent Chardonnay expression. B+

13% alcohol. Light straw color and light floral aromas. Apples, citrus and apricots highlight a lean but extremely balanced and focused palate. Lingering aftertaste.
I assume this wine is a high volume, somewhat non-descript white Burg, but it really gave me everything I like in Chardonnay - freshness, crispness and stony laser focus. I paid $27 for this at Monterey Whole Foods (so I imagine that the rest of the sensible world pays around $20?). France knows Chardonnay. I wish California competed better in this arena.

Over the hill (albeit perhaps not optimally stored), should be consumed now if you have any left, lemon/pear; medium acidity giving way to bitterness

Blind Tasting Group - 2nd Session (Orchard Parade Hotel - Tung Lok Classic): Nose: TIght on the nose, opened up to simple straightfoward stone fruit notes and seaspray
Taste: Simple on the palate as well, citrus fruits and a saline quality to it. One of those simple everyday quaffers.
This was quite funny as it threw many people off as a Pinot Grigio. No one expected a Pouilly Fuisse.
