Somewhat not what was expected but overall a nice dining wine to share with friends and family. Average legs and finish, lighter tannins and body, no extreme remarks on accent to meal but overall an average drinking wine that was nice to reveal. Some sediments remained in the bottle and that maybe just the wrong bottle at the wrong time. Would like to try this one again.

Finally, a bottle of Juslyn from a good vintage with enough age. Now I understand what the fuss is about. This was deep cerise in color. Lots of fruit in the nose. Black and blue fruit up front, typical of a Spring Mountain wine. Nicely balanced with a bit of mint and chocolate. This shows an elegant depth and complexity. Full bodied with firm tannins and a lingering finish.

Nose blueberry and blackberry with floral, taste big fruit, again blueberry and blackberry, smooth integrated tannins and perfectly balanced. Drinking well now. Had with T-bone steaks, baked potatoes and dark chocolate for dessert

Bloody water red, reflective. Sweet, concentrated black and blue berry notes on the nose. Very tasty with good structure. Red and black mixed seeet fruits with excellent tannic structure.

A bit sweep and flabby at first this tightened up in a good way with some air displaying dark chocolate, blackberry liqueur, and ripe dark fruit, tannins built in the glass and needed to in order to stand up to the substantial fruit; this bottle could have gone many years longer.

From memory- I really liked this wine. It’s perfectly mature and I suspect has several more yrs. Much more elegant and nuanced than the 2013 chappallet Pritchard hill. Wonderful complexity.

Dark purple with violet edges. Bizarre (but delicious) nose of rare steak juices and cinnamon. Drinking older than its ten years; drink up. Vine-Fermented blueberries, meat juices. Soft, velvety texture. Delicious aftertaste.

Decided to finally revisit after a couple years in light of recently enjoying the 2013 vintage. Purple fruit - blackberry, currants, dark cherry, and a little plum. Smooth mid-palate (the tannins are integrated quite well), however, I thought this vintage showed more depth and character a couple years ago when I thought it was closer to Parker's 95+ rating. Fairly long finish. Decanted for one hour and drank over another three. Not much improvement with time but at a nice drinking point. Still a nice wine but I believe this vintage peaked a couple years ago at least for my preferred style in cabs. 100% cab.

This has mellowed a significant amount over the last year (at least this bottle has compared to last). Now with continued blue and black fruits but the tannins are now in the background instead of smacking you in the face. Polished, balanced, and dare I say feminine? In a great place right now with years to go.

A terrific wine. Dark and brooding effort which has years and years left. The mouthfeel is still a little out of balance with acidity dominating over the fruit. Flavors are blackberry strawberry and plum. Long tannin dominated finish.

very good - smooth and no hard edges. classic Spring Mountain fruit forward but maybe a bit more polished than some of the other fruit bombs from the mountain-top.

Complete. Good mountain acidity. Enough tannins to suggest a wine w significant longevity. Arguably a little hot w 15+% etoh but enough fruit and balance to make a memorable experience. Personally I would give it 3-5yrs

A complete wine. Still almost opaque and purple. Heady nose of fruits and spice that was out of this world. Palate had silky smooth tannins with luscious fruits of blackberry, plum and black cherry. Long and deep finish. A wine to linger over!

Was very nervous when I saw red spitting through the foil and a cork discolored all the way to the top. Second day notes: dark garnet color. Nose of blackberry, raspberry and some blueberry. Palate brings forth a nice amount of oak with same fruit, supplemented with vanilla, toast, and a hint of graphite. Tannins definitely relaxed overnight. Balanced acidity. Nice long finish absent of any bitterness.

Very, very nice bottle. Opaque, nose of dark fruit, followed by the same dark fruit and nicely integrated tannins. This should drink very well for several years to come. A very nice bargain, and a very nice bottle in any event.

My initial impression upon immediate tasting after opening was that this wine was thin and lacked any redeeming qualties whatsoever. Would have rated it 86 at that time. I put it in the decanter and it really opened up and seemed to fill out in about 30 minutes. Excellent blue and black fruit with typical Spring Mountain tannins appeared and became the focal point of the wine over the next 3 hours. The following day the tannins had mellowed and the wine was just spectacular. Recommend at least a 3 hour decant or leaving it in the cellar for a few more years.

This was gorgeous. Nice perfume and floral nose, real sleek wine with lots of uderstated power and grace. Definitely "spring mountain". Wish I had scooped up a few more.

full fruit on the nose and deep rich dense grape on the first taste......of course, the longer it stayed opened, the smoother the bottle. By the end, a very good bottle of Napa Cab that deserves to be opened well in advance. Worth the time and cost. The last pour is still on my mind.

Opened at 2pm for 8pm dinner and needed all of it. Nice nose of blueberry, blackberry and toasted oak. Palate is dense and rich - plainly not ready. The overwhelming aroma is licorice, quite chewy - and a little caramel finish. The finish is long. This is a wine you'd love to press fast forward on - is it going to evolve or remain a one dimensional monster? Still, at this stage I enjoyed the nose and finish enough to rate it quite highly - and I do like licorice which helps. 93+

Really nice, but needs more time, did open over the hour, and improved. Nice fruit and tannin, well balanced, but young. Wish we had more to a let age.
