PnP, mod chill. Clear, med straw color. Med/full intensity nose. A very fine wine and definately not NZ in style. Classic/proper CA SB. Wonderful balance/integration, big/proper SB flavor profile, very French. Clean, slight steel/chalk, not over oaked, no hint at all of grass/pineapple. Long very fruity finish. One of the best examples of CA SB I've ever had and absolutely nothing off. Drinking perfectly now. $38

Nose of honey with a little vanilla - very understated, but pleasant. Nice lemon punch on the palate with the vanilla very subtle on the finish. Had no idea that Sauv. Blanc could have this kind of structure and body, but still be refreshing.
My first time with this wine and it really out performed my expectation. Not your too often found overripe over oaked Cali SB. This one is plenty acidic with grapefruit and lemon dominating. Clean and crisp with only a hint of oak on the finish. Could definitely hold for a bit in the cellar too. I bought this one because I ran across it for $20, but after tasting I wouldnt have felt bad about paying the full retail. Nice wine if you like the leaner aid style. (think opposite style of say Merry Edwards SB ...which I like too btw)

Pretty shocked by the relatively low ratings here, as I think this is quite interesting for a Sauvignon Blanc. A lot of depth but still the core of SB. I like much more towards cellar temp than chilled - wonder if that's part of the issue some are having.

Wine Reviews: Sauvignon Blanc: SRP: $40. A stunningly complex Sauvignon Blanc with lemons, grapefruit, mint, and white flowers, along with a hint of gray minerality. The palate, while tightly wound, shows off sweet citrus notes and a hint of alcohol. This is a serious Sauvignon Blanc, and one that should likely be cellared for a few years.

Outstanding! I was skeptical that an American fume blanc would be worth the price ($35) but this wine did not disappoint. Excellent balance of acidity and floral overtones. Complex enough to even linger at the finish with new layers of minerality and nuttiness on the palate.

I believe this is a wine for the cellar and it's not showing it's best at this point, lots of potential at the moment - Light gold, full bodied with a nose of lemon, grapefruit, lime, flowers and cream, excellent acidity, balance at this stage, interesting, sour, sweet on the palate with very good length, delicious (89 Points).

Trip’s visit to DC (Marks duckhouse, Falls Church, Va): This is very clean, crisp and cool. No sign of oak. Grassy, kiwi, sea breeze and nice mineral expression. Everything is in nice balance and the fruit expression is fresh but not too complex.

Strong grassy and mossy nose. Slightly feral. Zingy palate, layers of lime and green apple tang. Hints at creme brûlée. Acid here and I like it. Nice wine for what it is.

- Light gold color with slow forming legs and aromas of apple. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of grapefruit with a light/medium body. Smooth texture with a medium finish - Nice tartness with some tang Good acid Medium to long finish
