A bit out of balance. The alcohol stood out a bit, nevertheless the wine drank pretty well. But it lacks terroir, this wine could be any other (supermarket) wine with a bdx blend, so I'm not that impressed.

Slow-ox overnight and drank with a slight chill since it's 90deg and 90%RH here in Bali. Dark ruby color to the rim, 85% opaque with slow, clear legs. Profound plum and cassis, lighter florals and walnut-driven oak on the nose. The palate follows through with the same plump fruit attack and then glides into a big helping of tannins that may have years to go before subsiding. Fortunately, I think the acidity and fruitiness will also go the distance and this could be an outstanding mature example of South African Bdx. Recommend to hold for another 2+ years. 5+12+16+8 = 91

Pleasant, good cabernet franc nose. Taste is a little dull, ok wine, not great.
